ORGANISATIONAL WELLBEING

FOR ORGANISATIONS WHO NEED PERFORMANCE THAT MATCHES THEIR WELLBEING AMBITION

CORPORATE WELLBEING THAT STRENGTHENS PERFORMANCE

Psychologically-led wellbeing, leadership and team development for organisations navigating change.

Most organisations already invest in wellbeing, and yet the figures that matter rarely move. Poor mental health is estimated to cost UK employers around fifty billion pounds each year, and the larger part of that cost is not absence but presenteeism: capable people who remain at work while performing well below their potential. We help you address this where it actually sits, in the quality of management, the safety of teams, and the support available to people in real difficulty. Our depth as psychologists means we are able to hold complexity rather than refer it away, and our regulation by the Care Quality Commission is a quiet assurance that the work is serious and safe.

WORKPLACE MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTANCY

We help organisations build psychologically informed systems of care, designed with attention to difference, complexity and human need. This includes the design of mental health frameworks, trauma-informed staff pathways, post-crisis and critical-incident support, and psychological safety embedded across teams and leadership. Each piece of work is shaped to your context, with psychological depth and strategic clarity.

A PSYCHOLOGICALLY-LED LAYER ALONGSIDE, OR IN PLACE OF, YOUR EAP

Most organisations already hold an employee assistance programme, and we do not suggest displacing one lightly. We can sit alongside your existing provision and take the complex, senior and sensitive cases it tends to refer away; or, for organisations ready to move on from a service that is little used, we provide a psychologically-led employee assistance service in its own right, evaluated on genuine engagement rather than logins.

MANAGER AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Because a manager's influence on a team's wellbeing and performance is so considerable, some of our most valuable work is with managers themselves. We develop managers and teams to lead in ways that protect wellbeing and performance together, and we run training on neurodiversity, trauma-informed practice, leadership presence and building a reflective culture. Each programme is designed for your setting rather than taken from a template. Where individual leaders need deeper support, this work runs hand in hand with our executive and leadership coaching.

NEURO-INCLUSION THAT SUPPORTS PERFORMANCE

We bring particular expertise in neurodivergence, which we approach as a matter of helping people and their managers do their best work rather than as a diagnosis to be bought. We support neurodivergent talent and the managers around them so that strengths are used well and adjustments are practical. Because our expertise spans both children and adults, we can also support employees who are themselves parents of neurodivergent children, a quiet and considerable source of stress that most workplace services cannot reach.

WELLBEING STRATEGY AND EXECUTIVE ADVISORY

We work closely with leadership teams to develop bespoke wellbeing frameworks grounded in psychological insight and aligned with your organisation's mission. Our support includes framework design, strategic consultation and executive-level advisory input, so that wellbeing is part of how the organisation thinks and leads rather than an add-on.

CULTURE ASSESSMENT AND 360° FEEDBACK

We provide psychologically informed assessments of organisational culture, leadership behaviour and team dynamics. Using tailored 360-degree feedback, structured interviews and diagnostic insight, we surface the patterns that sit beneath performance metrics, the relational dynamics, trust barriers and unspoken tensions, and we offer leaders a clear and compassionate view of what is working, what is missing and what needs to change.

HOW WE BEGIN

We prefer to begin small, with a defined pilot in one team or population, clear measures agreed in advance, and a review before any wider commitment. We report against the things leaders care about: presenteeism and productivity, the retention of skilled people, the confidence of managers, and genuine take-up of support. “Esther from Minds in Session worked with us on a highly sensitive leadership and culture programme within a major UK police force, facilitating reflective and assessment groups that required deep psychological insight and professional containment. She brought exceptional skill in creating trust, navigating complexity, and synthesising group dynamics into meaningful analysis and recommendations. Her work was of an exceptionally high standard; intelligent, rigorous, and delivered with discretion and integrity."
